Offspring struggles with the fact that he'll never be taken seriously because of his powers and the fact that Plastic Man is his father. His girlfriend makes matters worse by pointing out his father's faults. In the end, signs are pointing toward grave times and perhaps the end of the world, and Offspring realizes that it's okay to be seen as the goofy character, and makes amends with his father.
